Some lovely woolly gifts...

Just thought I would share with you some gifts...that I happened to receive on the same day...that are wool felt...and touched with cheerful red.

Isn't this wonderful? Kim Cowley, a fiber artist in the UK, made this bag. It is lined with a red calico print and is so very me! I think I would wear this frequently as an accessory piece this coming fall and winter...to remind me of summer. Thank you, Kim, I love it!

My dear friend, Marty, found this wonderful Red Riding Hood doll and book for me. Red Riding Hood is made from wool felt and she is as nice as as a Lenci doll in my opinion. She was made by Fyhrworks and is exquisite! Look at all the detail in her clothing...

She is about 8 inches tall and the workmanship is just perfection! She has quickly moved into the category of "my most favorite dolls."
Thank you, Marty, and thank you for a day of fun!

The weather is improving here as we inch towards September. It is darker earlier now and the angle of the sun has changed enough to make things much more comfortable. It's still hot and humid, but I don't think we will see those high temps (triple digits) that plagued us earlier this summer.

Thanks for dropping by today. The weekend is just around the corner...so I wish you a happy one!

And, as always,

enjoy the day!
