Hazy, hot and humid...

As you can see from the photos above, it has turned humid. Summer arrived about a month late and is making up for lost time with high temperatures and heavy humidity.

See that little lobster shack in the first photo? It's in a scene in the movie Mystic Pizza. It's where the Mom works.

As you can also see, we are having some serious sunshine, too. It may not be too late to ripen some tomatoes growing in containers on my deck.

Below is a photo taken on my deck. That amazing dish garden was a birthday gift made by my friend. She made the star-shaped dish and it is so lovely. She knows that I love shawls and use them all the time and that one is from Anthropologie. Of course, it is really hard to think about wearing wool in this heat. But, a month or two from now, I think it will come in quite handy.

Happy Monday!

Enjoy the day!

Hey it does look alittle humid, but gloriously bright... just right for sitting outside and enjoying the scenery. I like your dish and love the your shawl ( which you won't be wearing anytime soon) hopefully..ENJOY THE SUN...

Hello!

What lovely summery photographs Helen. I just caught the last half hour or so of Mystic Pizza late the other night, when I couldn't sleep, and needed to relax a bit, so this is a fun bit of serendipity today.

It's a lovely gift from your friend.

Enjoy the sunshine. I know you've had a bit of a wetter than usual summer in your part of the world. Ours has been too hot!
