Today is the last day of summer in New England, USA. Good-bye air-conditioner, humidity... and some of the strangest hot weather ever. Of course, we will miss your sunny face that we seldom saw due to white glowing smog and haze...but when you made your rare cameo appearances, it was a pleasure!
Hello, autumn with cool nights, leaves of many colors, beautiful blue skies and clouds with gray underbellies that change as the days grow shorter. Hot soups, cozy nights before the fire place...Halloween and Thanksgiving...welcome fall. (Please do not deliver two feet of snow in October again like last year...that was a disaster with the leaves still on the trees.)
The four seasons make life very interesting here. The past few years we have had unpredictable weather, but the seasons still come and go...same as they ever did... and I love them all...
Happy weekend and as always,
enjoy the day!
