"Turn around, let's go back!"

While traveling from one town in Massachusetts to another, I caught a glimpse of an interesting figure from the corner of my eye.  Without question, we needed to turn around and go back...

We happened to be in Belchertown
 near the expansive town green.

How charming was this?

It was next to a little shop that is
 even MORE charming!

Swift River Crafts

Needless to say, I cannot wait to visit when it is open!

The shop is closed until after Labor Day weekend...
but we will return soon...

One thing about living in New England is that you can be in another state in a few hours and each state has its own distinct character wrapped up in lush foliage and surrounded by historic buildings and  stone walls.

It is still hot here and quite humid. It seems like the "August dog days"  have been with us since May. Hopefully, we will have some cool crisp autumn air next month but right now? Still very much summer!

Hope your summer is going well!

As always,

enjoy the day!
