Autumn in Connecticut...

It is beginning to really look like autumn around here--once we got past that ridiculous snow storm before Halloween,  the leaves have started to turn and drop off the trees.  This should have happened weeks ago.

The bittersweet on our picket fence is looking pretty.  The birds will feast on the berries until they are gone.

Out of the golf course, it was very windy but warm this past weekend...but so very pretty.

It's getting darker earlier and the sky has those kinds of clouds one only sees in autumn.  The trees are getting bare and look so beautiful standing against autumn skies.

Hope you had a nice weekend. Ours was busy and flew by way too fast.  Thanksgiving is around the corner...with Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and New Year's Eve and Day not very far behind. Are you ready?!

Whatever your season or weather,

enjoy the day!

Oh, that photo of the bittersweet is so pretty! Love that one. It is so lovely where you are, every season of the year, it seems, Helen. Thank you for sharing it with all of us.

Take care,
Lena

The bittersweet is very pretty indeed...our trees are looking very pretty with color now as well but,the weather has been crazy with spring like temps and sunshine....nice but,its supposed to be much cooler ...more to my liking :) I had my grandsons pull out of storage my many tubs of Christmas decorations today...now,I have a huge job ahead of me. I am sorting through all of it and doing away with some. Trying to keep it simple this year....blessings
