Everybody okay?

Did you make it through the storm okay?

We did. It turned from snow into an ICE storm but not as bad as it might have been. There are so many roof collapses in CT and MA...you can look it up in the news. There is also a prediction for a storm this Saturday and next Tuesday. Hopefully, they will not be big storms.

Here is our "front yard." We very live close to the sidewalk and the snow piles are much taller than I am between the sidewalk and road. You can see how tall by looking at the snow in comparison to our neighbor's vehicles.
That fence is about 4 feet tall.

My muse is on vacation...
probably where the
weather is better!

So for now,
I will make some tea...
and do my best...

to enjoy the day!

Glad you fared the weather well...that is a lot of snow...more than I will ever see! However it is very cold here. I am dealing with frozen water pipes and no water....but,this too shall pass :) Blessings

We were lucky as well, our ice storm was more sleet than ice, which did not stick to power lines. Makes the roads terrible, but we have heat, and I'm grateful for this!

Take care. I'm sure this dreadful Winter will pass, and Spring will renew us all.

I'm so glad that you are all doing ok. I know snow like that can be a real hardship for some, and those very cold temps especially.

I love snow, and would love to be there to see that much of it, but I know that even I would tire a little bit of all that you have endured this season. Spring will be a welcome visitor indeed!

Take good care, Helen.

Yikes! But, again, it is beautiful and you do know what to do when "cabin fever" might be with you. I wish you a thaw very soon.

Hugs,

Christine

I hope that things are better and you have as Christine said, "thawed out" by now.
It has been really cold down here in MS (for us)and I am ready for it to warm up, but only because butane is so expensive and this house just sucks it up. (I love cold weather)
Hope you have a great week!
