American Girl, NYC....

Yesterday my doll friends and I visited American Girl in NYC. (There will be many happy children and grand children who will benefit from this visit!)

The displays are truly wonderful and everywhere one looks there is a photo op.

In the "windows" in the displays, there are movies running depicting the eras. The windows are at kid level and are quite magical.

Here is Mirabel, our founding club member--fashion forward, energetic and 95 years old. She bounded up a marble staircase in front of me and got there before I did!

The baby department is charming, of course.

No dolls came home with me but a little Yorkie did.

We spent the day in a driving rain. The last three times I have been to the city it was in a driving rain...even in December. So, photo ops were difficult. It was dark and cold and windy...and wonderful!

Today, I would love to go back to bed and stay there, but I need to go out early today and have much to do.

Don't forget to visit Martha and Jane. A new adventure will appear there later today.

As always,

enjoy the day!
