Two hours old...

This sweet little alpaca baby was just two hours old when we took this photo.

We stopped by Six Paca Farm on our way to Mystic Aquarium. We were graciously invited to see the new born and spend some time with the alpacas. The grands had a great time and so did we!

It is amazing how sweet and gentle these animals are. The mother didn't mind at all that we were around. Other inquisitive alpacas came by to visit, too. The little one was wobbly but pretty curious, too.

The day started with alpacas but more adventures will follow in the next few days: Beluga whales, penguins and other such stuff on a warm and sunny day.

It is unseasonably warm here in Southern New England. It feels like summer. There are no leaves on the trees yet, so it can be quite warm in the sun.

Whatever your weather, wherever you are,

Happy Monday...

...enjoy the day!

What a sweet little alpaca. I can't remember if I've shared with you that my sister lives very near a farm that raises alpacas. I see babies often there, and they are so charming. The alpacas they have are afraid of hands. You have to put your hands behind your back, and then they will visit with you.
