Weather extremes...

We had wonderful weather in New England for Christmas. It was sunny and dry and the snow on the ground was quite beautiful. It was wonderful for traveling. We enjoyed a great Christmas with family. We did a bit of traveling within the state and enjoyed the beauty.

Then we had a huge rainstorm and the temperatures hit 50F and it felt like early spring! People were jogging and running in shorts and it was probably closer to 60 degrees in the sun. When it is that warm in New England, we shed our coats and can be out and about in sweaters and sweatshirts. I saw someone shopping in sandals...without socks.

Today it is back to reality. Christmas is over, there will be snow showers this morning and the high temperatures will not even reach freezing most of the week. Such is New England!

I hope that you had a wonderful holiday wherever you spent it!

Back to the work week. Happy Monday....

enjoy the day!
