Sunbathing squirrels

We are having some wonderful summer weather in southern New England today. In fact, we have had several nice days in a row with temperatures around 70.

Everyday we have sunbathing squirrels on the deck or on the roof of the shed. This trio were there for three hours!

We didn't travel for fun this weekend because we were busy with practical matters so no scenic photos today. The weekend went by quickly.

I hate to do this but I will have to change the comments section due to nasty spam writers. Look for authentication for a while. What a pain!

As always,

Enjoy the day!

I've been catching up with your blog today Helen, and I so enjoyed all of your wonderful photographs of autumn, and the scarecrows. The scenery is so beautiful there, and the combination of the greens and autumn colors are stunning.

I've been watching squirrels at our house too. They've been harvesting lots and lots of berries off of the holly tree. More than usual, it seems, which makes me wonder about what kind of weather they are expecting here this winter. Up until a couple of weeks ago, it has been mild, but snow came to the mountains earlier than it has in quite some time, so hopefully we will have more of a normal weather pattern this year. Yours is sounding so unusual though!

I hope your week is a happy one.

Lena
