Good-bye summer...

There are a few autumn leaves falling from the trees, but it is too early to say good-bye to summer as warm temperatures and high humidity have returned. I had started to put away summer clothes when I realized that it was way to soon.

Every year I try to take a photo of the Hittys at the end of summer. This photo is from a few years ago. I haven't taken the annual photo yet.

How are things in your part of the world? What season it is it? I know that people from across the globe read blogs and I always wonder what is going on in their worlds. Unless a person signs a blog, there is no way to know.

Time to begin my own day here. So, for now...

Enjoy the day!

Love your dolls in their fall setting.
It's in the 80's here in central IL and the leaves are starting to turn.
The corn is drying down and we have lots of soybean aphids that are migrating to their winter home.
Beautiful time of the year.

love the hitties.
it has rained and rained and rained here.
however, it does take the heat off and for that i'm very glad.
but ground is past saturated...on the fresh ground around our house you sink down to your knees.
so will all the rain it is still lush green around here.

It does seem warmer today here in Vermont. Overcast...the usual. I think I am going to just crawl in bed on overcast days...LOL!

What a cute idea. It's been kind of warm and muggy here all week. Just broke today and tomorrow should be more autumnal.

What a charming photograph, Helen. You always take wonderful photos, and I enjoy seeing the world through your eyes.

Well, as you know, we are entering autumn in our part of the world. The weather forecasters have said that autumn will truly start today, and the temperature does feel much cooler. I think we are supposed to see rain in the next few days too.
