a thousand words. Summer is not really over for another month, although kids will return to school soon. So, I look forward to more times like these before autumn rolls around in late September.
A tropical storm will bring us a rainy weekend but we will also enjoy much cooler weather. I love late summer in New England. The next few months will be so beautiful it's a shame that kids have to go back to school.

I want to hop on the Ferry or the water taxi with you and we can go somewhere for a delicious lunch. Then we can take a cool walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery. And maybe go shopping for vintage treasures. How bout it???
I love being by the water, and especially when the evening sky is so pretty, like the one you've shown.
I love autumn in our part of the world too. I'm looking forward to it, and the return of some rain, here. We've had a much too dry summer, and it shows.
