Another week went by just like that! It is amazing all the things that can happen in a week...or even a day. Worked on many projects... never got around to photographing them...that kind of week...one of my little drawings above.
We are having some of the best weather we have had all year. The nights are cool and the air is dry. In less than a week, the summer will be officially over. I will never forget this one because it was hot from May through September and frequently uncomfortably humid. It feels great to have the windows open and hear the sound of the birds and crickets.
For a week or so, the bird feeders are covered with pretty little gold finches. They are peaceful and polite birds unlike the aggressive sparrows who knock each other off perches to get to the seed. I say we could do with a lot more peaceful behavior these days. Watching them has been a joyful past time...I can see them from where I work at a table.
