It is really raining?

It has been a very long time since it rained here!  With so little snow and no spring showers, brush fires have been abundant and hazardous. With temperatures rising to the 80's and 90's (when it was supposed to be in the 50's) the lack of water is really obvious.

A late winter storm brought rain to Connecticut last night and a foot of snow to parts of NY and PA.  The weather is strangely out of kilter. Just turned on the heat to take away the chill. The high today is only 54 F. degrees.

This past weekend it was like summer and we took headed to Norwalk Maritime Museum and the shoreline.

Who doesn't like sting rays?

Swimming upside down!

 Jelly fish!

Squiggly seahorses!

It was a fun time!  We were there a few months ago when the refurbishment was in progress. It is finished now and one happy museum!  I didn't get photos but there are meerkats in a wonderful environment and otters swimming about as as well as sharks and giant sea turtles and jelly fish, too.  Fun for all of us and time well spent. A shoreline dinner rounded out the day followed by a walk along Long Island Sound.

Poof!  The sun is gone!  It's so chilly...time for tea. Care to join me?

As always,

enjoy the day!
