We stopped at my favorite grocery store yesterday...

There are lots of animated
characters throughout the store
who sing and dance.
Flowers are always cheery...
Say cheese!
They always have
the latest Beanie Babies, too.
Meat, seafood and produce are superb. Free samples are given away many hours during the day. There is food-to-go, sushi, gourmet items and a huge fish market. Upstairs there is a party room and a place to sit and eat takeout food. There is much, much more there but you get the drift...

Meanwhile the power is still not back for some people in CT and it's been ten days. Hard to fathom, isn't it? Homes, business, restaurants, the economic implications...schools still closed...and the frustration.
Fortunately, it has warmed up a bit and it is more like normal weather. The damage and destruction from snow laden falling trees and branches is jaw- dropping. Everywhere one goes, one hears stories...hopefully things will return to normal for them, too, very soon!

That's a Grocery Store???? OHMYGOSH!!! I would NEVER dread shopping if I got to go there!!! I bet Kids love tagging along!!! I would stand all day just making Clover the Cow talk to me!!! Looks like the Amsterdam Flower Market!!!! WOW!!!!
Don't think we have any of those grocery stores anywhere close to me...Bet,its fun browsing there though....Hoping those folks get their electric back soon....that's a long time of having to do without it...blessings
That looks like a wonderful store to visit. I don't think I've heard of it before, but it looks like it would make grocery shopping a real adventure.
I hope winter takes it a little easier on you all, as time moves forward.
