Mr. and Mrs. Boris Bedbug...the wedding

Last week there was a bedbug wedding. It happened online on Facebook and had many international attendees. It also produced more than 500 comments from all over the world.

For those of you who are bedbug owners who are not on Facebook, here is a recap of the lavish wedding.

A nod to the other side of the aisle...

The bride wore a gown with a bodice of dupioni silk with ballerina length lace skirt. Her veil was of tulle and decorated with an heirloom crown...from a sticker book.

The groom's kilt and sporran were fashioned in Scotland by Ms. Katharine. His stylish shirt was designed and made in Kentucky by Ms. Sandy... who also happens to be the mother of the groom.

They enjoyed a reception table with a tea and cake.

Due to the fact they decided to get married less than 24 hours before the wedding, they were unable to secure a proper band so music was provided by a boom box. Nevertheless, they were able to enjoy a romantic first dance...

The newlyweds will be traveling by Priority Mail to a Kentucky for their honeymoon.

Bon voyage...

and enjoy the day!

Amazing wedding!! Am I allowed to say 'hilarious' or would this be an insult to the bride and groom? Weddings are supposed to make you smile and this one certainly did. 'Hilarious!' (Obviously a lot of work involved - well done).
