More of the bedbug adventure...

After we had lunch we strolled across the parking lot to Harney & Sons....which was our original destination.

Bjork is there in the sign...
can you see her?

The tasting room...

When we made our purchases, Bjork jumped out of my bag and onto the counter. Russell graciously posed for a photo.

Just a short distance away was the most wonderful flower shop. As a person who was a florist apprentice during my high school years, I have always had the utmost appreciation for well done shops. This one took my breath away!

It is housed in a wonderful old station...
the decor is over-the-top beautiful!

The gracious and talented owner told us the story of the railroad station. (She painted the homage to Monet's garden in this corner of the shop.) The building is steeped in history. We stayed a long time and could have stayed longer and look forward to a return trip.

Soon we were on our way home. Bjork jumped back into my bag and took a long nap. But, we think we created a monster. On Sunday she was was ready to go again.

We were on our way elsewhere when we saw these mixed up belties.

Obviously, something went amiss and they are not true "belted Galloways." But they are charming in their own way...

It was a fun weekend... with a touch of spring. We think that maybe the snow is actually over for now. After a lot of rain, we see green grass.. and dandelions, too.

The week flew by! As we approach another weekend,

happy weekend

enjoy the day!

I love florist shops though my own arrangements aren't at all professional. Bjork is obviously not all camera shy. I wonder what my dollies would think to him. I reckon he'd run rings round them don't you? Have a good weekend. Eli x

I would have loved visiting that flower shop. My sister is trained as a florist. She would love it too. I love the painted mural of Monet's garden. Wouldn't it be wonderful to visit there for real, one day?

This is a charming post, Helen. Thank you.

Honestly Helen, this post made me absolutely giddy. The pictures of all the wonderful places. The cows, the tea shop, the florist shop...but I couldn't help wonder if Edie is jealous that she didn't get to travel too?
