A perfect day in New England...

Mount Greylock hills...

Looking back at Adams, MA...

Hannah was

excited about Vermont.
..

She bravely posed

at Hogback lookout.
..

with its 100 mile view.

It was so peaceful

that we wanted to jump in...

We were blessed with a perfect New England day: sunny, dry, cool and breezy. A day like that makes a big difference in this relentless summer heat and humidity. The sky was blue rather than gray and the open road called to us.

The humidity is back and we are having some much needed rain today. Before this summer, rain always cooled things down. Now when it rains, we have a tropical steam bath for a few days. What's with that?! But, I will hold this day in my heart and mind's eye for a very long time.

Don't forget to sign up at Martha and Jane and find out about that secret potion that can make you old! ( I am still laughing...) Leave a comment and be in the drawing for the cute, cute birdie!

Happy Monday...

enjoy the day!

Makes me think of that Barry Manilow song, "Time In New England."

I love the "brave" photo of Hannah! So beautiful- the steeple spire peeking out in the lush hills! Did Hannah do any grazing?
