It was a lovely weekend and we have many happy memories. Here are some from Gillette Castle. Aside from the abundant wildlife near the pond, a great blue heron flew over when we were taking photos. We took the grands and they both love nature so it was a good day.

Love to read and see the photos of your road trips. Also like that you put in a shortcut on some of the sites to follow up on more info on them.. My little New England ventures on a working weekend. The midwest just does not compare.

OHMY!!!!! The photo with the talking turtles and the Lily Pads- Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! But I must admit, I could do without the snake!!! Ouuuhhhhhhhh!!!!! YUCK!!!! Hopefully you were NOT that close!!!
