Fantastic Umbrella Factory Part III

After walking around the early
spring gardens...

it was quite a pleasure
to visit such
unexpected beauty
in the nurseries.

Remarkable plants and
terrariums took away our breath.

On the way home, we passed
through New London, CT.

The U.S. Coast Guard tall ship,
The Eagle
was gracefully docked nearby
.

We actually were in many more interesting places over the weekend but I will save them for another time! I hope you enjoyed my little travelogue and as always,

enjoy the day!

I love tall ships, and it always brings tears to my eyes every summer when a whole bunch of the old ones come sailing into our world here.

Lovely post, as always, Helen.

I always look forward to your travels. In fact because of all the wonderful scenes you post, I had planned a little trip to New England this spring, but alas Uncle Sam will not allow it...sigh...

It's a little bit like Alice in Wonderland! Your photo of "New London" is stunning. The seagull was certainly charming to pose for you. So lovely- everything! Much different than Arkansas

Whoops! Nearly missed part two of the F.U.F. and now we are onto part three. What an unusual place it looks. Sort of higgledy-piggledy and all over the place. Plenty to look at. I have to confess your area does look very much like England. I love the old sailing vessel, I have a passion for those sorts of things (not sure I'd have the sea legs to take a voyage on one!) Eli
