Rain, rain, go away...

It has been raining now for days. Parts of New England are flooded, though we are okay here since we live on the side of a big hill.

It has been a good time to work on projects, make soup, catch up on housework and stay cozy.

Yesterday, I made this pincushion from a pattern by Cheswick Company. The pattern called for mohair but I used wool that I felted in the washing machine. It came out very cute. I am not connected in any way to Cheswick but I love to pass on a good resource when I find one.

Have been working on lots of projects for Easter, too, which I promise to show you before Easter.

Is it raining where you live? Are you ready for some sunshine?

Wishing you sunshine...

enjoy the day!

I am so sorry about that pouring rain... have you seen G Britain? Another unspected abnormal spring...
Oh my...
Fortunately in the CAnaries (cross fingers) it's fine!
Hugs and be well/ I mean keep safe and warm
The flowers will eventually blossom and the sun is there to shine on you too!

I was looking at that pattern just the other day, on her website. She has so many wonderful patterns, the elephant being one of my favorites. Your elephant turned out adorable Helen.

I'm glad that you guys aren't flooding. We have had all sorts of weather lately, including rain and hail, but today it is sunny and sort of warm.

I LOVE your Ellie!!!! And I adore her in the Wool! I know you want to try one in mohair but I can't see it being any cuter than this! And her little hat is dashing!

Sorry about all the rain, the elephant is just precious. He is making me smile and I really need one today--stayed home from work to do the taxes...sigh..have a great Easter weekend.
