It will be a white Christmas...

It will definitely be a white Christmas. It has been many years since we have seen one on our street. It was only ten inches of snow here. There had been predictions for much more. It was light and fluffy and easy to move with the snow blower.

My husband clears the sidewalks for our entire block out of the kindness of his Quaker heart. He uses a very powerful snow blower which he purchased for this purpose. There are people who cannot shovel due to age or health. We received a delicious loaf of cranberry walnut bread one of the neighbors baked for us and many thankful phone calls. When it snows, we see everybody as they come out to clean the snow and we end up visiting up and down our city block.

It appears that a luncheon party I am going to today has not been canceled so I must get moving and prepare some refreshments.

Wishing you a safe day and hoping that you are not buried in snow
!

Happy Monday...

enjoy the season...

enjoy the day!

Oh my goodness- you are STILL going to a luncheon? What a difference- the snow "Attitude" there and in Little Rock! If the weather man dares to hint snow coming our way, you can't even get in to the grocery store- it's so packed! No One goes out at all!!! But it hasn't snowed here for a long time- well, nothing to speak of. Your Snow looks like Christmas! Thank goodness you have power!
