And then there was fog....

Yesterday started out with heavy fog and it lingered most of the day in the Berkshires. We were on our way to other places and had to turn back because visibility was zero at the top of a mountain we were trying to cross.

Weather never stops our enjoyment of the Bridge of Flowers. Though we go there fairly regularly, it always looks different depending on the weather, time of day and season. There were lots of people walking the bridge and taking photographs. Unfortunately, there were people yakking on their phones, too. Everywhere we have been we see people on the phone spilling their personal business out into our world and some of it has actually been embarrassing to the ears.

The mixture of clematis and roses was really pretty on that arch. The bridge, a former trolley bridge, is outstanding this year.

I have lots more photos from yesterday that I will post in days to come. We see beauty everywhere but I suppose our idea of beauty might be boring to others. Beauty is, indeed, in the eye of the beholder.

It poured all night last night and it still raining. A middle of the night thunderstorm woke us up here. Within moments, we were treated to the smell of skunk. UGH.

For now, I must get moving here and I definitely need more coffee!

Enjoy the day!

Enjoy the beauty!
