Shade grown tobacco for cigar wrappers

Summer scenes from New England...

Ever see shade grown tobacco? This used to be a common sight in parts of New England and has a long history. The fields are diminishing in numbers but will always evoke memories of a different time for many people.

It was quite beautiful at the shoreline and there was lots of traffic. It rained a lot lately so the sun brought everyone out. A bridge up will always slow one down!

Very busy weekend that flew by in a flash...and a busy day ahead..

Enjoy your Monday!

The shade grown tobacco is interesting. I would never have imagined that in New England.

In response to ultimately closing my etsy and eBay sites, it is just too much to keep track of an inventory based business across so many sites. Also, the cost of selling on either venue is prohibitive based on the return and cost of goods. I lose money on most items sold.

PayPal is the real money maker for eBay. I still accept and will accept PayPal as payment. That is eBay's only venue to protect the customer, so in reality, the protection for my customers is NOT that it is purchased on etsy or eBay, but that the payment is secure due to PayPal. I can see where the confusion lies, but the reality is not what it appears to be regarding either etsy or eBay vs. a website.
