It's "duck weather" today.
You know...."nice weather for ducks."
Or, in this case, some goslings I drew last spring.
It poured all night and there were thunder rumblings, too. It washed away the snow and spiffed up the sidewalk.
We live on the side of a hill. The back of our house is actually two stories up from ground level. We can look down the hill for several blocks. What I am seeing today is back yards that look like small lakes.
I will take this March rain over snow any day. Spring is just around the corner. I think spring bulbs will awaken and emerge today now that winter has given up her grasp on the soil.
Back to the drawing board.
