In your Easter bonnet.....Remember Easter bonnets? Many of our dolls have them, we wore them, and some people still wear them. However, the days of Easter finery seem to be fading away.
I remember various hats and gloves and little purses I wore with my new Easter dress. This dress would invariably be worn with new patent leather shoes and fancy anklet socks. My daughters had new Easter outfits growing up, too, although I made most of their dresses.
Nowadays, only my dolls wear fancy dress hats and gloves! So many many collectors and doll makers love to dress our dolls in clothes of yore. When was it that we stopped dressing ourselves?
