Off we go to the museum....

A day of good weather and the company of a good friend...and a visit to Yale University Art Gallery.

The old and new architecture have been blended into a picture perfect venue for showing art.  What a pleasure to visit this space!  I will let the photos speak for themselves.

(The humble Slinky is part
 of the modern design area...
displayed with other wonderful designs.)

It will require many trips back to see all that is there but that will be a pleasure.

Across the street at the Yale Center for British Art there is a wonderful show on "Edwardian Opulence" which will make any Downton Abbey viewer swoon. Photos were not allowed unfortunately but if you click on my link it will take you to a place where you can see a bit of it.

The galleries have free admission, handicap access and are worth the trip from anywhere.  As a matter of fact, the mix of tourists, bus groups, school children and students gave off a powerful positive energy that this artist needs from time to time.

Happy to share my trip with you...wish you had all been with me!

As always,

enjoy the day!
