Sea lions, whales, penguins, oh my!

This past weekend was as warm as summer. We took the grands to Mystic Aquarium. Oddly enough, we had not been there although grands had been there before. It was totally wonderful with many hands on exhibits. When my daughters were growing up, this was a school field trip that I missed. Well...I had missed a lot. It is family friendly with so much to see it is almost over-whelming. The sparkling day just added to the ambiance since many exhibits are outdoors.

The warm weather continues--unseasonably warm. As a result, trees are showing their leaves and flowers are blooming. Unfortutnately, when it is this warm, the spring flowers do not bloom very long. To think only a few weeks ago it was snowing!

What are you up to today? I am still in creative mode. I have a running list of projects ahead of me.

As always,

enjoy the day!

We have an aquarium down at our waterfront, but I haven't visited it since my son was a young boy. I think yours actually looks better in some ways. So much of ours is inside.

I'm going to clean house and grocery shop today. Not too exciting, but alas, there will be days.

What a beautiful looking environment! Our son has been somewhere similar in Atlanta....nothing like that here in Arkansas.
Today I am taking care of dogs, making blueberry muffins, practicing reading aloud with my 10 year old puppeteer for our upcoming storytime at his school, and continuing work on that darn Cat puppet! Cats are just not cooperative!
